My Martial Arts history: I began my martial arts journey in 2012 at Acitvstars under Sensei Alex Thompson at the St.Joseph, MO location.  In 2014, Sensei Graham Leavell took over the St. Joseph location and I have been training under him ever since.  In the spring of 2019, I was awarded my 1st-degree black belt in American Kenpo, and in the summer of 2019, I was hired on at Activstars as an instructor

About me:  In my time as a martial arts student, I learned many things.  The most important things I learned were respect, discipline, and self-confidence. As your child’s instructor, I will strive to teach them all these things and more.  My main objective is, of course, to teach your child stranger awareness/defense. But I also hope to pass on the lessons I learned while still having fun.  I not only want to make sure your child learns how to defend themselves but to have an amazing time while doing it.
