Cheerleading is my passion, sharing it with children and watching them develop a love for the sport is what drives me to develop strong athletes and continually challenge our program to become better. The athletic aspect of developing a cheerleader is my main focus in the sport. Strength, physical and mental, discipline, and drive are imperative in preparing an athlete for success in the sport as well as lifelong endeavors.
I was a cheerleader through my secondary education, followed by collegiate cheerleading at Kansas Wesleyan University where I earned my Bachelors of Science degree. I met my husband and pulled him into the world of cheerleading as well, experiencing NCA Cheerleading Nationals together as well as being members of the Kansas Cagerz, semi-pro basketball team cheerleading squad.
I began coaching with ActivStars in 2005 and became the Midwest Cheerleading Coordinator in 2016. My employment with Activstars has provided me an opportunity to share my passion of cheerleading with others and be a positive role model to the children I work with.
Having four children of my own provides insight and a wealth of knowledge in not only building strong athletes but strong individuals ready to conquer their dreams.

Kids benefit in big ways from our programs
"We love the different levels, and our star looks forward to each semester where she gets to learn something new. Pom tryouts were a nice touch."
"The best thing any young cheerleader can do to get ready for their school’s cheerleading tryouts."
"Big emphasis on teamwork and fun, which you don’t find in many programs. Thank you for being so inclusive."
