COMPETITION OVERVIEW

While at the event, athletes will stay with their coach and teammates the entire time.  Additional (pre-selected) Parent Helpers/Adults will be assisting the coach with the team(s).  As a standard with our program attention to safety of students will be a top priority!

Below is a review of event flow for your understanding.

FOR ATHLETES:

Athletes will go to the Auxiliary Gym  (holding area) with their parent for check – in.  After check-in, you will find your coach in the Aux Gym to group up and head to either warm up or the main gym to wait for their warm up time.

Athletes will proceed to their warm-up, with their coach, which will take place in the small gym, downstairs.

From here coaches will lead athletes to the Main Gym performance floor for their PERFORMANCE!

Post performance athletes will be awarded their participation medals on the mat for all their FANS to celebrate with them!

After all teams have competed, Awards will take place on the main floor.  When each team has received their placement and pin, coaches will escort the team the pick up area at the end of the gym.

FOR PARENTS/SUPPORTERS:

Once athletes have been dropped off, parents/spectators will line-up outside the Main Gym in the holding cue for gym admittance.
Supporters will be able to watch their athlete and team perform in person (small crowd) inside.

Once all teams from in that division have performed, coaches will escort the team to the pick up area at the end of the gym.  Please have one parent come to pick up your athlete, as their is limited space.
